Historic Elmwood Pinewood

Historic Elmwood Pinewood, Inc. is a nonprofit “friends” group that partners with the Charlotte to preserve, restore, and promote the historic Elmwood, Pinewood, and Settlers’ Cemeteries. The organization supports these 70+ acres of historic green space through fundraising, educational programming, tours, and community events that connect residents with the city’s past. Its mission focuses on honoring local history while maintaining the cemeteries as both active burial grounds and accessible public spaces.
